Eloy Rodrigues is the Director of the University of Minho Libraries. Eloy has been working on repositories, Open Access and Open Science for fifteen years, having established University of Minho institutional repository in 2003, and being the scientific and technical coordinator of the Portuguese national infrastructure RCAAP (Portugal Open Access Science Repository) since 2008.
At international level he has being working on the coordination boards of several EU funded projects (like the OpenAIRE suite of projects, MedOANet and PASTEUR4OA, and currently FAIRsFAIR) related with Open Science, coordinated FOSTER and FOSTER Plus projects, and is member of the European University Association Expert Group on Science 2.0/Open Science. Eloy is currently the Chair of the Executive Board of COAR, the Confederation of Open Access Repositories. He is also member of the Working Group – Política Nacional de Ciência Aberta (National Open Science Policy), created by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education of Portugal.
In the Landscape WG Eloy can share his direct experience and knowledge related with Open Science infrastructures, initiatives and organizations not only at national level, but also at European level (through his participation in OpenAIRE and EUA) and beyond (through COAR).
