Business and information architect
Magnus is the business and information architect for the Swedish Research Councils(SRC) research infrastructure RUT (Register Utiliser Tool). RUT aims to support register based research by describing registers, biobank sample collections, clinical quality, research databases according to the FAIR principles in a metadata repository. He also works a lot with the data owners coaching them in curating semantics and metadata into the infrastructure.
In a Nordic context Magnus chairs the metadata WG in the Nordforsk Nordic commons healtdata project, have participated in the FAIR criteria government commission in Sweden and participates in the SRC Open Access and DMP work.
Magnus have a long background as an Information and Solution Architect specialised at Business intelligence, ETL pipelines, design of statistical/analysis databases and master data management in the private sector before joining the Swedish Research Council.
