EOSC ESFRI Cluster Collaboration Interest Group
- About the EOSC ESFRI Cluster Collaboration Mailing List
-
EOSC is central to access and handling of Open Research Data. The continuous development of EOSC is driven by a multitude of European and National projects and by the EOSC Association itself (from 1.1.2021 onwards). Interdisciplinary exploitation of data and other research products such as training and software will enhance quality, openness and trust in research. The governance, the roadmap and expansion of EOSC touches all researchers, all disciplines and all collaboration.
The European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) projects and landmarks work together on EOSC in five groups of projects. The ESFRI cluster projects represent the wealth of ESFRI and are at the heart of EOSC. They implement interfaces. software, and training services, in order to create cross-border and open cooperation data spaces thereby promoting the EOSC to their large research communities.
This Cluster Interest Group (CIG) welcomes representatives of the ESFRI cluster projects, those working in ESFRI projects and landmarks, and all others interested in the activities related to the relationsship between ESFRI and EOSC. The CIG mailing lists joins those getting EOSC and ESFRI to work together and aims to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and discussion on topics related to EOSC and its implications for ESFRI.

- About the EOSC Interest Groups (IGs)
-
The Interest Groups (IGs) were created to give the EOSC related community the opportunity to collaborate, share information, and discuss EOSC related topics. The first four IGs were approved by the projects participating at the EOSC Coordination Day in Budapest, on November 28-29 2019.
The EOSCSecretariat.eu set up an IT platform to support the Interest Groups in their activities. This platform includes a workspace based on a public and open collaborative virtual space where the members can discuss, share documents and structure their collaboration.
The Interest Groups are open to all members of the EOSC community and EOSC-related projects, no limit in the number of participants from a single project is envisaged. Private area of discussion can be implemented upon request.
Each Interest Group is facilitated by at least one member of the EOSCsecretariat.eu.
