“The question is not whether an AI-centered system would be perfect. It's whether it would be better than what we have now”

  • By Katharina Flicker

This month - in order to collect as many visions on future research environments as possible - we talked to Peter Watts, who studied Zoology and Resource Ecology at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, and is most reknown for his book Blindsight. Watts won several awards for his work, including the Shirley Jackson Award and the Hugo Award.

The interview is available for download (DOI 10.5281/zenodo.4580897) and can be read on the EOSCSecretariat Website.
