Academic and Research Network of Slovenia
The Academic and Research Network of Slovenia (ARNES) is a public institute that provides network and other services to research, educational and cultural organizations, and enables them to establish connections and cooperation with each other and with related organizations abroad.
The vision of Athena RC is to serve the full spectrum of the research lifecycle, starting from basic and applied research, continuing on to system & product building and infrastructure service provision, and ending with technology transfer and entrepreneurship. The fundamental role of Athena RC is to build knowledge and devise solutions and technologies for the digital society. Its value lies in the unique collection of skills and know-how of its researchers and professional staff and its national and international reputation.
Austrian Barcoding of Life Initiative
ABOL is a national network of institutions and experts dealing with research on Austrian biodiversity. In the long term ABOL aims to generate DNA barcodes of all species of animals, plants and fungi occurring in Austria, also considering geographic variation. The DNA barcodes will be available in a public database. ABOL generates a solid and up-to-date data basis of biodiversity in Austria. ABOL considers is as a platform which coordinates and promotes all research dealing with Austrian biodiversity.

BEIA Consult International, SIEMENS partner, is a R&D performing SME, founded in 1991, and one of the leading providers of ICT solutions and services in Romania for time-critical cloud communications and secure industrial IoT telemetry using AI and blockchain. BEIA is ISO certified and has experience in coordinating and participating in more than 5000 commercial projects and 60 R&D and Innovation projects.
Beilstein-Institut zur Förderung der Chemischen Wissenschaften
The non-profit Beilstein-Institut is one of the most respected organizations in the communication and dissemination of high-quality information in chemistry. We work with scientists worldwide on our platinum open access journals, data standardization projects and symposia. We believe that free access to scientific research results, giving everyone in the world an equal chance to read and reuse experimental findings and data, is the best way to advance science.
Bureau de Recherches Géologiques et Minières
BRGM, the French geological survey, is France’s reference public institution for Earth Science applications in the management of surface and subsurface resources and risks. BRGM aims to meet key challenges for our society, particularly those related to climate change, energy transition and the development of the circular economy. Around geosciences, BRGM is developing expertise to contribute to a harmonised management and controlled use of the soil and subsoil of cities and territories.
Centre Informatique National de l'Enseignement Superieur
CINES is a french national supercomputing center located in Montpellier. It offers global services to the scientific community in (1) High performance computing; (2) Long term digital preservation; (3) Hosting of IT platforms. 60 people are working at CINES (technical operations and user support and training). CINES is already strongly involved in EOSC projects: EOSC-Hub and EOSC-Pillar, eTDR archiving platform in the EOSC marketplace, and is also a founding member of the EUDAT-CDI consortium.
Centre pour la Communication Scientifique Directe
The CCSD provides researchers, universities and research organizations with tools and services, in accordance with OS, for archiving and disseminating scientific publications and related data. It manages the French open archive HAL, the conference management platform SciencesConf and the hosting platform of overlay journals, Episciences. It is a joint service unit supported by CNRS, Inria, INRAE and the Université de Lyon.
CERIC is a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC) integrating and providing open access to some of the best facilities in Europe, to help science and industry advance in all fields of materials, biomaterials and nanotechnology. With a single entry point to some of the leading national research infrastructures in 8 European countries, it enables the delivery of innovative solutions to societal challenges in the fields of energy, health, food, cultural heritage and more.
CLARIN (Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure) is a distributed research infrastructure that provides easy and sustainable access to digital language data (in written, spoken, or multimodal form) and a wide range of interoperable language processing services to support researchers through a single sign-on platform. The service offer addresses researchers from the social sciences and humanities, and beyond, and is enabled through a networked federation of over 50 centres. More than 20 countries have joined CLARIN ERIC as member.
CSC is a non-profit state enterprise with special tasks. As part of the national research system, we develop, integrate and provide high-quality information technology services and ensure that Finland remains at the forefront of development. CSC has an important role as an instrument for steering and developing the Ministry of Education and Culture's education, science and cultural policy.
Data Archiving and Networked Services
DANS is the Netherlands Institute for permanent access to digital research resources. DANS encourages researchers to make their digital research data and related outputs Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable. We provide expert advice and certified services. Our core services are: DataverseNL for short-term data management, EASY for long-term archiving, and NARCIS, the national portal for research information. By participating in (inter)national projects, networks and research, DANS contributes to continued innovation of the global scientific data infrastructure. Open if possible, protected where necessary. DANS is an institute of the Dutch Academy KNAW and funding organisation NWO.
The EGI Federation is an international e-infrastructure providing advanced computing and data analytics for research and innovation. For more than a decade, the federation has been delivering large-scale data analysis capabilities to thousands of researchers covering all scientific disciplines. The EGI Federation provides technical and non-technical services, including integrated and secure distributed high throughput andc loud computing, storage and data management services, consultancy and support, training and co-development. The EGI Federation's mission is to deliver open solutions for advanced computing and data analytics in research and innovation. This mission is pursued by coordinating and provisioning an international federated infrastructure that pools together service providers from both the public and private sector in Europe to develop, integrate and deliver digital services for compute- and data-intensive research and innovation. As an open initiative with a global outlook, the EGI Federation also connects service providers beyond Europe following the collaboration needs of the served communities.
EISCAT is an international scientific association with member institutes in several countries. We conduct ionospheric and atmospheric measurements with radars. As an example we can observe effects of the aurora borealis or the northern lights. We operate in three countries: Finland, Norway and Sweden, and all our facilities are located north of the Arctic circle. We are associated with our radar antennas, that are located in Kiruna, Sweden; Sodankyä, Finland; Tromsø, Norway and in Longyearbyen, Svalbard. In Tromsø we also have a combined ionospheric heating and short-wave radar facility.
