Provisional members and Observers of the EOSC Association
The mandate of the current EOSC governance comes to an end on 31 December 2020.
As explained by EOSC EB Co-chair Cathrin Stöver, the EB, GB and the EC have agreed that there will only be four initial members in the EOSC Association, whose main mission would be to quickly accept Members and Observers as soon as it starts it operations.
The Deed of Association of the EOSC Association was signed on 29 July 2020. On 11 September the EOSC Association received the Royal Decree, meaning that legally, the Association is now established. The first General Assembly is taking place on 17 December 2020. Please find the EOSC Association Statutes at this link
Applications received before 15 October were considered for preliminary admission in time for the first General Assembly on 17 December. Applications filed thereafter will be considered for the next round of admissions which will be in 2021.
