EOSC Association President Karel Luyben Interviewed by Science|Business

With the establishment of the EOSC Association on 11 September 2020 and the election of a board of directors and a president on 17 December 2020, EOSC is entering a new "convergence phase." The EOSC Association is so far made up of 142 members and 49 observers, who are research providing organisations, research funders, service providers, and other related organisations. European Commission Launches Open Access Publishing Platform

The European Commission has recently launched Open Research Europe (ORE), the open access academic publishing service announced by the Commission last year.

ORE provides all Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe beneficiaries and their researchers with the option of an easy, high-quality peer-reviewed venue to publish their papers open access, at no cost to them, and in full compliance with the European Commission’s open access policies. This is a great opportunity for the dozens of EOSC related projects funded under the Horizon schemes. Approximately 40 scientific papers from very diverse fields of research have already been submitted and are available for the scientific community to read and review.Read more
